How to get from garden to garden

The Festival bus service runs between all Leura gardens approximately every 20 - 30 minutes. A bus will also run between Leura Station and the Wentworth Falls gardens. Bus ticket puchase is available online.

The first bus leaves Leura Station at 9.30am each day and the last bus departs the station at 4.30pm for the last circuit.

Group Tours

Group Tours

Free entry for tour leader and coach captain of groups of 10+.  A group is a minimum of ten paying visitors.

Please note, there is good coach parking adjacent to Festival Headquarters in Fitzroy Street, Leura.

Forward Bookings

There is no necessity to book in advance for visits during Festival dates and times, however, we do prefer to know when to expect you.

We run a Ticket and Sales office on the kerbside in Fitzroy St, Leura. (See map in our brochure, or copy a map from this website. See Group Checkpoint on map.)

We will assist you, give your group full colour Festival brochures and issue you with a Group Ticket / Tax Invoice / Receipt. This document will give you entry to all gardens you have paid for, and your driver will, of course, receive a brochure with a map and any directions as needed. Your Ticket / Receipt will be valid for all days of the Festival so that you may stay overnight and fit your garden visits into your programme as it suits your group.

Group Payment

Tickets may be purchased on the Festival website from 1 August 2025. Tickets may also be purchased at our Fitzroy Street HQ, using Visa or Mastercard. We do not accept vouchers without prior arrangement. Visiting, say, three gardens of your choice, on the days to suit you, is all done with the use of the Group Ticket / Invoice / Receipt. Gardens are all accessible to a drop off from your coach and turning spaces are there where you need them. Ask on arrival at Ticket Sales in Fitzroy St.

Disabled Access

Many private gardens are not designed for wheelchair access, although there are some gardens where a part inspection is possible with interesting views of the garden and scenery. We will assist in this regard; the person in the wheelchair enjoys free entry, and only the "pusher" pays. Please make arrangements prior to visit.

GARDENS ARE OPEN FROM 9.30AM - 4.30PM

Think Spring, Think Leura! 2026

Winter is traditionally a quiet time for gardeners, but in the world heritage listed Blue Mountains a group of dedicated garden owners are already preparing their beautiful gardens to take part in this year’s Leura Gardens Festival. Spring is the perfect time to visit the Blue Mountains and what better way to enjoy spring than to visit the beautiful cool-climate gardens of Leura, so close to Sydney.

Gardeners looking for inspiration or just wanting to experience the beauty of spring in the Upper Blue Mountains, will  be treated to  glorious cool climate spring gardens, showcasing a particularly wide range of styles and sizes. There will be masses of flowers, gorgeous bulbs like tulips, bluebells, and peonies, as well as an amazing variety of plants  such as dazzling rhododendrons, azaleas and wonderful cool-climate deciduous trees  such as maples, dogwoods and ornamental cherries which will just be coming into their full glory.

The 2026 Leura Gardens Festival, will be open  from the 2nd to the 5th of October, 9.30am - 4.30pm. Tickets will be available on the festival website from August 1, 2026. All tickets are valid for the duration of the festival. Money raised helps support the Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital and local health related organizations.
The Festival ‘hop on, hop off’ bus service runs between all gardens, including those at Wentworth Falls, from Leura Station, approximately every  20 - 30 minutes, from 9.30am - 4.30pm (being the the final circuit). The circuit lasts approx. 20 - 30 minutes.  For further information and details, phone 0474 933 103 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Please note that there are no toilets in the private gardens in this year's Festival.

However, the hop-on and hop-off bus routes to all the gardens include stops at the following toilet and café amenities: Leura station, Leura village (toilets in Woolworths Carpark), and many cafes around the village, Leura oval, Gordon Falls Reserve, Leura Gardens Resort, opposite the Golf Course, the Fairmont Hotel. There will also be a coffee van outside the main gate of The Braes. A bus will shuttle between Leura station and Wentworth Falls gardens and will stop at Wentworth Falls Lake toilets, Conservation Hut cafe, Wentworth Falls station and the village where there will be toilets and cafes.

We ask all visitors to make use of all the amenities available on these stops. For visitors’ convenience, a combined garden and shuttle bus ticket or only a bus ticket or only a garden ticket can be purchased online. As well, a bus ticket can be purchased on the bus and garden tickets can be purchased at each garden.Information is available on this website.

You can also follow the Festival on Facebook and Instagram.

SPRING FESTIVAL 2025

We are delighted to let you know that the 2025 Festival was resoundingly successful!

More than 7,300 tickets were sold (not to mention the large number of children who came with their families and are free under 16).

More than 21,000 visits were made to the gardens.

A big thank you to Dave Tunks of Tunks Landscape and Building Supplies for moving and installing the ticket sheds at each Festival garden and at HQ in the rain!
