In the Beautiful Blue Mountains

Festival 2023

Friday 29 Sept - Monday 2 Oct

Think Spring …. Think Leura

Following the huge success of last year's Festival, the comittee has decided to hold the 2023 Festival for 4 days over the October long weekend from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

These are the dates for your diary:

Friday 29th September

Saturday 30th September

Sunday 1st October

Monday 2nd October

2023 Festival private gardens are:

1.   Karoola, 28 Malvern Road, Leura

2.   Foggylorne, 8 Holmes Street, Leura

2A. Cherrydell, 4 Holmes Street, Leura (only open Friday 29 September)

3.   The Braes, 64 Grose Street, Leura

4.   Tusculum, 105 Craigend Street, Leura

5.   Ewanrigg, 100 Gladstone Road, Leura

6.   St Annes, 104-104a Gladstone Road, Leura

7.   Tree Tops, 4 Mimosa Avenue, Wentworth Falls, the Festival's first 'satellite' garden

Please note that 'Seasons' garden has been withdrawn from the Festival and replaced by 'The Braes'.

Also open is the beautiful public garden at the Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains.

We are delighted that the owner of Leuralla in Leura, Victor Evatt, will open his magnificent garden for the duration of the Festival.  Entry will be by way of a cash donation and we encourage mountain locals in particular to take this opportunity to visit one of Leura's most iconic gardens.

The glorious garden at the National Trust's property, Everglades, has been supporting the Festival for many years.  For various reasons the National Trust has made the difficult decision not to take part in this year's Festival.

Many thanks to those who have contributed Festival photographs to this site, including Jodi McConaghy Photography, Julie Martin and garden owners.
